D.C.Troicuk - Bio

author photo

D.C. Troicuk was born in Glace Bay, NS, but her work is hardly regional. Her published fiction is representative of a broader life experience that has taken her from coast to coast, and back again.
Troicuk's first published short story, Overburden, appeared in The Antigonish Review, and was nominated for the 1998 Journey Prize.
Ron Caplan of Breton Books has called it a "Cape Breton classic."
Other credits include highly regarded literary magazines, Canadian Living Magazine, and several anthologies -- both literary and speculative fiction.

Troicuk is now concentrating on the novel form. No acceptance as yet. But several very complimentary rejections.
